Winter Concert - Jan 26, 27, 28
All are invited to attend the MV Music Department's Winter Concert – An Evening of Music from Stage and Screen. The Concert features musical selections from movies and musicals such as Aladdin, Phantom of the Opera, Annie, The Fantasticks, and Beauty and the Beast. Shows are on Thursday 1/26, Friday 1/27, and Saturday 1/28. All concerts start at 7:00 pm. Tickets are on sale in F114 or online at seatyourself.biz/mvhsmusic. $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Don't miss it!
What Makes You Happy? - 2/13
The Monta Vista PTSA invites students and parents to a presentation: What Makes You Happy? A Discussion about Positive Psychology. Two local psychologists, Dr Adam Dorsay and Dr. Mark Forman, will share some of the latest research on how to increase happiness in our lives. They will also discuss how it is more under our control than previously thought. Please join this engaging discussion. You'll be happy you did. Monday, February 13th, 7:30 - 8:30 pm, in the Monta Vista Library.
Parenting Class Starts 2/29
The Monta Vista PARENTING CLASS will be held from February 29 through April 11, 2012. This series will be 7 sessions long, held on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, in the library. The class is free to all community members. You can register by emailing Richard Prinz at richard_prinz@fuhsd.org. If you don't have email, please call 366-7638 to register. Questions are welcome!
