Blue Ribbon School
Monta Vista has been named a National Blue Ribbon School. Only three high schools in the state of California were awarded this honor in 2014. Graduation on June 1, 2018
Congratulations to the class of 2018! Graduation ceremonies took place on Friday, June 1, and we wish our graduates the best of luck as they move on to new challenges. Running of the Bulls: August 13 and 14
Running of the Bulls (pre-school registration) begins on Monday, August 13 for 10th to 12th graders and Tuesday, August 14 for 9th graders. Information will be emailed to parents, but you can review resources including forms, schedules, purchase supplies and photo orders, and more at the Running of the Bulls page.

2018-2019 School Schedule Approved
Monta Vista has approved a new two-block schedule that starts school a bit later in the morning and has more tutorial time. Check out the new schedule here, that starts in August of 2018.
Newsweek Top 500 Schools - #18
Newsweek has published a list of the top 500 high schools in 2016. MV is ranked at #18 based upon a formula which includes graduation rates, college enrollment rates, AP/ACT/SAT participation and scores, and the number of counselors at a school. Way to go, Mats!
